January 14, 2023: El Cajon, CA 92019 In Saturday's non-league outing, the Valhalla Norsemen (El Cajon, CA) basketball squad edged the visiting Maranatha Christian Eagles (San Diego, CA), by a count of 57-50.
The Norsemen (6-2) will now prepare for their outing against Monte Vista (Spring Valley, CA). The Monarchs go into the outing with a 4-13 record.
The Eagles now hold a 5-11 record. They play next when they travel to Escondido Charter for a outing on Tuesday, January 17. Maranatha Christian will clash with a White Tigers squad coming off a 68-16 non-league win over Guajome Park Academy (Vista, CA). The White Tigers record now stands at 7-7.
