Georgia High School Basketball - Miller Grove nudges Stone Mountain
January 14, 2023: Stone Mountain, GA 30083 Miller Grove Wolverines (Lithonia, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stone Mountain Pirates (Stone Mountain, GA), 58-53 in a league bout.
With the win, Miller Grove upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Wolverines host Clarkston (Clarkston, GA) to clash with the Angoras in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Angoras go into the bout with a record of 3-6. Clarkston won 61-42 in their recent non-league bout against Towers (Decatur, GA)
Next up, the Pirates clash with the Southwest DeKalb Panthers (Decatur, GA) in a bout, on Wednesday, January 18. Stone Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 9-0 record after their 70-43 league win over Stephenson (Stone Mountain, GA).
