California High School Basketball - Morse overwhelms Mount Miguel
January 14, 2023: Spring Valley, CA 91977 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Morse Tigers (San Diego, CA) and the host Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), saw Morse's basketball squad wallop Mount Miguel by a count of 63-37.
With the victory, Morse upgrades its record to 2-7 on the campaign. The Tigers host Point Loma (San Diego, CA) to play the Pointers in a challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Pointers come into the challenge with a record of 7-3.
Next up, the Matadors play the Santana Sultans (Santee, CA) in a challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Mount Miguel will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Sultans come into the challenge with a 12-9 record after their 78-29 league win over El Capitan (Lakeside, CA).
