New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Benedict's Prep trounces St. Joseph
January 14, 2024: Metuchen, NJ 08840 The St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) basketball crushed the host St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ), 79-58 in Sunday's non-league test.
The Gray Bees (8-4) will now prepare for their test against Blair Academy (Blairstown, NJ). The Bucs go into the Mid-Atlantic Prep A test with a 5-1 record.
The Falcons now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 16. St. Joseph will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 79-67 non-league win over Saddle River Day (Saddle River, NJ). The Trojans record now stands at 8-3.
