January 14, 2025: Wilmington, DE 19809 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Appoquinimink Jaguars (West Middletown, DE) and the host Mount Pleasant Green Knights (Wilmington, DE), observed Appoquinimink's basketball team knock off Mount Pleasant by a score of 47-33.
The Jaguars (7-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Middletown (Middletown, DE). The Cavaliers come into the Blue Hen Flight - A bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, Middletown was beaten by St. Georges Tech (Middletown, DE), 67-42, in a league bout.
With the loss, Mount Pleasant falls to 5-6 on the campaign. The Green knights host Concord (Wilmington, DE) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 23. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 1-7.
