The Joliet Central Steelmen basketball squad (Joliet, IL), was crushed 72-26 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Bolingbrook Raiders (Bolingbrook, IL)

With the victory, Bolingbrook advances its record to 17-2 on the year. The Raiders host Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to meet the Wildcats in a SouthWest Prairie battle on Friday, January 17. The Wildcats enter the battle with a record of 1-17. Plainfield Central lost 55-34 in their recent league battle against Minooka (Minooka, IL)

The Steelmen now own a 2-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oswego East for a SouthWest Prairie battle on Friday, January 17. Joliet Central will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 58-54 non-league win over Metea Valley (Aurora, IL). The Wolves record now stands at 14-5.
