In Tuesday's league test, the Sarasota Christian Blazers (Sarasota, FL) basketball squad trounced the visiting Canterbury Crusaders (St. Petersburg, FL), by a score of 55-30.

Next, the Blazers encounter the Morningside Academy Eagles (Port St. Lucie, FL) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 17. Sarasota Christian will attempt to improve on its 12-7 season record. The Eagles come into the test with a 9-7 record after their 54-53 non-league loss to St. Edward's (Vero Beach, FL).
