Nebraska High School Basketball - Southern Valley trounced by Chase County

Chase County Longhorns (Imperial, NE) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Southern Valley Eagles (Oxford, NE), 73-26 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Chase County advances its record to 5-6 on the year. The Longhorns host Perkins County (Grant, NE) to meet the Plainsmen in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Plainsmen enter the match with a record of 8-2. Perkins County won 66-22 in their recent non-league match against Sutherland (Sutherland, NE)

The Eagles now own a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Holdrege for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Southern Valley will meet a Dusters squad coming off a 74-54 non-league win over Adams Central (Hastings, NE). The Dusters record now stands at 11-2.
