Kentucky High School Basketball - Henderson County knocks off Christian County
January 14, 2025: Hopkinsville, KY 42240 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Henderson County Colonels (Henderson, KY) and the host Christian County Colonels (Hopkinsville, KY), observed Henderson County's basketball team overcome Christian County by a score of 65-49.
The Colonels (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY). The Mustangs come into the non-league challenge with a 10-2 record. In their last challenge, Muhlenberg County defeated McLean County (Calhoun, KY), 59-46, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Colonels battle the Evansville Reitz Panthers (Evansville, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Christian County will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 80-65 league win over Jasper (Jasper, IN).
