Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Northern Valley Huskies (Almena, KS), 69-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Decatur Community advances its record to 5-4 on the year. The Red Devils travel to Hoxie (Hoxie, KS) to meet the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Indians enter the match with a record of 4-4. Hoxie lost 71-53 in their recent non-league match against Colby (Colby, KS)

The Huskies now own a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheatland-Grinnell for a Western Kansas Liberty match on Friday, January 17. Northern Valley will meet a Thunderhawks squad coming off a 76-26 non-league loss to Dighton (Dighton, KS). The Thunderhawks record now stands at 3-6.
