January 14, 2025: Hunter, ND 58048 Northern Cass Jaguars (Hunter, ND) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Hatton/Northwood Thunder (Northwood, ND), 65-38 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Northern Cass advances its record to 6-2 on the year. The Jaguars host Richland (Colfax, ND) to face the Colts in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Colts enter the match with a record of 0-9. Richland lost 74-35 in their recent league match against Hankinson (Hankinson, ND)
The Thunder now own a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Larimore for a B District 4 match on Friday, January 17. Hatton/Northwood will face a Polar Bears squad coming off a 70-60 league loss to Mayville-Portland-Clifford-Galesburg (Mayville, ND). The Polar Bears record now stands at 4-5.
