In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Lakeland Dreadnaughts basketball team scored a close 64-59 triumph over the Sebring Blue Streaks.

The Dreadnaughts (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Region (Eagle Lake, FL). The Thunder go into the non-league contest with a 3-14 record. In their last contest, Lake Region was tipped by George Jenkins (Lakeland, FL), 48-37, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Blue Streaks battle the Discovery Spartans (Lake Alfred, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. Sebring will attempt to better on its 5-9 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 13-4 record after their 76-64 non-league win over Davenport (Davenport, FL).
