Washington High School Basketball - Liberty nudges Lakeside
January 14, 2025: Spangle, WA 99031 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Liberty Lancers (Spangle, WA) and the visiting Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA), observed Liberty's basketball team edge Lakeside by a score of 54-49.
The Lancers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Colfax (Colfax, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 2B Bi-County challenge with a 13-1 record. In their last challenge, Colfax edged Upper Columbia Academy (Spangle, WA), 70-27, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Eagles encounter the Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA) in a 1A Northeast challenge, on Tuesday, January 21. Lakeside will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record.
