Oklahoma High School Basketball - Wetumka thwarts Schulter
January 14, 2025: Schulter, OK 74460 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Wetumka Chieftains (Wetumka, OK) and the host Schulter Bulldogs (Schulter, OK), observed Wetumka's basketball team knock off Schulter by a score of 59-39.
The Chieftains (8-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Butner (Cromwell, OK). The Eagles come into the Crossroads challenge with a 5-9 record. In their last challenge, Butner dropped by Bowlegs (Bowlegs, OK), 45-39, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Bowlegs Bison (Bowlegs, OK) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 17. Schulter will attempt to improve on its 8-4 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 4-7 record after their 48-43 league win over Mason (Mason, OK).
