Ohio High School Basketball - Medina holds off Gilmour Academy
January 14, 2025: Medina, OH 44256 The Medina Battling Bees basketball team scored 46 points and limited the visiting Gilmour Academy Lancers to 44 in the Battling Bees non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Battling Bees now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Mentor for a non-league game on Friday, January 17. Medina will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 67-52 non-league loss to Strongsville (Strongsville, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Gilmour Academy falls to 5-10 on the campaign. The Lancers host Rhodes (Cleveland, OH) to confront the Rams in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Rams go into the game with a record of 3-0. Rhodes won 55-16 in their recent non-league game against Cleveland Central Catholic (Cleveland, OH)
