New Mexico High School Basketball - Moriarty toppled by West Las Vegas
January 14, 2025: Moriarty, NM 87035 West Las Vegas Dons (Las Vegas, NM) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Moriarty Pintos (Moriarty, NM), 70-56 in a non-league match.
With the victory, West Las Vegas upgrades its record to 6-1 on the year. The Dons host Mesa Vista (Ojo Caliente, NM) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 0-0.
The Pintos now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Los Alamos for a non-league match on Tuesday, January 21. Moriarty will face a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 50-25 non-league loss to St. Pius X (Albuquerque, NM). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-3.
