Virginia High School Basketball - J.R. Tucker defeats Atlee
January 14, 2025: Henrico, VA 23294 The J.R. Tucker Tigers (Henrico, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Atlee Raiders (Mechanicsville, VA), 52-36 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 6-3 record. They play next when they travel to Hermitage for a Colonial bout on Thursday, January 16. J.R. Tucker will play a Panthers team coming off a 59-30 league loss to Godwin (Richmond, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Atlee falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Hawks in a Capital bout on Friday, January 17. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 7-2. Hanover won 62-25 in their recent league bout against Mechanicsville (Mechanicsville, VA)
