New York High School Basketball - Middletown fells Beacon
January 14, 2025: Beacon, NY 12508 The Middletown Middie Bears basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Beacon Bulldogs to 34 in the Middie Bears non-league win on Tuesday.
The Middie Bears (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Wizards come into the non-league contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Washingtonville defeated Monticello (Monticello, NY), 62-27, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County III contest, on Thursday, January 16. Beacon will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Raiders come into the contest with a 5-1 record after their 42-20 non-league win over Fallsburg (Fallsburg, NY).
