Ohio High School Basketball - Kenton thwarts Columbian
January 14, 2025: Kenton, OH 43326 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Kenton Wildcats (Kenton, OH) and the visiting Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), observed Kenton's basketball team knock off Columbian by a score of 42-34.
The Wildcats (10-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Celina (Celina, OH). The Bulldogs come into the Western Buckeye challenge with a 6-9 record. In their last challenge, Celina prevailed over New Knoxville (New Knoxville, OH), 53-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tornadoes encounter the Perkins Pirates (Sandusky, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake challenge, on Saturday, January 18. Columbian will attempt to improve on its 9-5 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 6-8 record after their 64-63 non-league win over Ross (Fremont, OH).
