Louisiana High School Basketball - DeRidder bested by North Central
January 14, 2025: Lebeau, LA 70589 North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA) supporters left the game happy Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting DeRidder Dragons (DeRidder, LA), 37-26 in a non-league match.
With the victory, North Central advances its record to 9-12 on the year. The Hurricanes travel to Jennings (Jennings, LA) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-15. Jennings lost 56-25 in their recent non-league match against Barbe (Lake Charles, LA)
The Dragons now own a 0-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Merryville for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. DeRidder will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 54-25 non-league win over Church Point (Church Point, LA). The Panthers record now stands at 15-5.
