Nevada High School Basketball - Desert Oasis triumphant over Pahrump Valley

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Desert Oasis Diamondbacks (Las Vegas, NV) and the host Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV), observed Desert Oasis's basketball team overwhelm Pahrump Valley by a score of 65-29.

The Diamondbacks (9-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Coronado (Henderson, NV). The Cougars come into the 5A Southern challenge with a 8-7 record. In their last challenge, Coronado trounced Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV), 60-46, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Trojans encounter the The Meadows School Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV) in a 3A Southern - Mountain challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Pahrump Valley will attempt to improve on its 8-10 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 4-4 record after their 42-7 league win over Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon (Henderson, NV).
