January 14, 2025: West Columbia, SC 29169 Grace Christian Lions (West Columbia, SC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Lake Pointe Academy Mariners (York, SC), 60-24 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Grace Christian advances its record to 4-1 on the year. The Lions travel to Victory Christian (North Augusta, SC) to face the Vikings in a Freelance match on Tuesday, January 21. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 6-1. Victory Christian won 55-33 in their recent non-league match against Lighthouse Christian Academy (Enoree, SC)
The Mariners now own a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Greenville Classical Academy for a non-league match on Friday, January 17. Lake Pointe Academy will face a Lions squad coming off a 55-33 league loss to New Covenant School (Anderson, SC). The Lions record now stands at 0-1.
