New Mexico High School Basketball - Reserve overwhelms Hozho Academy
January 14, 2025: Gallup, NM 87301 The Reserve Mountaineers basketball team scored 61 points and limited the host Hozho Academy Wolves to 35 in the Mountaineers non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Mountaineers now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Mountainair for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Reserve will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 55-38 non-league loss to Native American Community Academy/Evangel Christian Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-12.
With the loss, Hozho Academy falls to 6-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Ramah (Ramah, NM) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 3-9. Ramah lost 60-40 in their recent non-league game against Pine Hill (Pine Hill, NM)
