The Palo Verde Panthers (Las Vegas, NV) basketball edged the visiting Mojave Rattlers (North Las Vegas, NV), 37-30 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Panthers now possess a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Spring Valley for a 5A Southern bout on Thursday, January 16. Palo Verde will play a Grizzlies team coming off a 69-29 league win over Las Vegas (Las Vegas, NV). The Grizzlies record now stands at 9-6.

With the loss, Mojave falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Rattlers travel to Cimarron-Memorial (Las Vegas, NV) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Cimarron-Memorial lost 54-48 in their recent league bout against Sierra Vista (Las Vegas, NV)
