The Niobrara/Verdigre Cougars (Niobrara, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Randolph Cardinals (Randolph, NE), 55-2 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Wynot for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. Niobrara/Verdigre will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 52-34 non-league loss to Cedar Catholic (Hartington, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-4.
