January 14, 2025: Beacon, NY 12508 Middletown Middie Bears (Middletown, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Beacon Bulldogs (Beacon, NY), 33-23 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Middletown upgrades its record to 1-4 on the year. The Middie Bears travel to Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY) to face the Wizards in a non-league match on Thursday, January 16. The Wizards enter the match with a record of 3-2. Washingtonville won 34-22 in their recent non-league match against Monticello (Monticello, NY)
The Bulldogs now sport a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Port Jervis for a non-league match on Thursday, January 16.
