Texas High School Soccer - Alexander toppled by Weslaco
January 14, 2025: Weslaco, TX 78596 Weslaco Panthers (Weslaco, TX) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX), 6-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Weslaco moves its record to 12-1 on the campaign. The Panthers host Laredo LBJ (Laredo, TX) to clash with the Wolves in a non-league test on Friday, January 17. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 5-4. Laredo LBJ won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against San Antonio Memorial (San Antonio, TX)
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edinburg North for a non-league test on Tuesday, January 21. Alexander will clash with a Cougars team coming off a 4-1 non-league win over San Benito (San Benito, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.
