The Alcovy Tigers basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Apalachee Wildcats to 37 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Tigers now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Clarke Central for a non-league game on Friday, January 17.

With the loss, Apalachee falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Loganville (Loganville, GA) to confront the Red Devils in a game on Tuesday, January 21. The Red Devils go into the game with a record of 6-3.
