Washington High School Basketball - Blaine thwarts Anacortes
January 14, 2025: Blaine, WA 98230 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Blaine Borderites (Blaine, WA) and the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), observed Blaine's basketball team knock off Anacortes by a score of 58-50.
The Borderites (5-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA). The Pioneers come into the non-league challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Nooksack Valley prevailed over Meridian (Bellingham, WA), 62-54, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Seahawks encounter the Lake Stevens Vikings (Lake Stevens, WA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 16. Anacortes will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 51-36 non-league loss to Arlington (Arlington, WA).
