January 14, 2025: Livermore, CA 94550 The crowd at Tuesday's league challenge between the Monte Vista Mustangs (Danville, CA) and the host Granada Matadors (Livermore, CA), observed Monte Vista's basketball team overcome Granada by a score of 55-42.
The Mustangs (14-5) will now prepare for their challenge against California (San Ramon, CA). The Grizzlies come into the challenge with a 12-8 record. In their last challenge, California dropped by Dublin (Dublin, CA), 55-44, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Matadors battle the Amador Valley Dons (Pleasanton, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, January 17. Granada will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record.
