Texas High School Soccer - Azle nudges Burleson
January 14, 2025: Azle, TX 76020 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Azle Hornets (Azle, TX) and the visiting Burleson Elks (Burleson, TX), saw Azle's soccer squad hold off Burleson by a count of 1-0.
The Hornets (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wyatt (Fort Worth, TX). The Chaparrals enter the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Wyatt tipped Southwest (Fort Worth, TX), 1-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Elks battle the Southwest Raiders (Fort Worth, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 17. Burleson will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Raiders enter the battle with a 2-1 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Granbury (Granbury, TX).
