January 14, 2025: Marrero, LA 70072 Young Audiences Yacs (Gretna, LA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA), 6-5 in a league test.
With the triumph, Young Audiences moves its record to 8-3 on the campaign. The Yacs travel to Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy (Westwego, LA) to meet the Tigers in a Division III District 6 test on Thursday, January 16. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 2-7. Patrick Taylor Science & Tech Academy lost 4-2 in their recent non-league test against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA)
The Eagles now sport a 8-5 record. They take the field next when they host Landry for a non-league test on Thursday, January 16. Archbishop Shaw will meet a Buccaneers team coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Eleanor McMain (New Orleans, LA). The Buccaneers record now stands at 2-7.
