The Bowie Volunteers soccer squad scored 4 points and held the host DeSoto Eagles to 1 in the Volunteers non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Volunteers now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Hebron for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Bowie will play a Hawks squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Creekview (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 3-1.

With the loss, DeSoto moves to 4-4 on the year. The Eagles travel to Mesquite (Mesquite, TX) to play the Skeeters in a 6A Region 2 District 11 bout on Tuesday, January 21.
