Louisiana High School Soccer - Brother Martin toppled by Newman
January 14, 2025: New Orleans, LA 70122 Newman Greenies (New Orleans, LA) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the host Brother Martin Crusaders (New Orleans, LA), 4-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Newman moves its record to 16-0 on the campaign. The Greenies travel to Willow (New Orleans, LA) to meet the Lions in a non-league test on Thursday, January 16. The Lions come into the test with a record of 14-2. Willow won 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Riverdale (Jefferson, LA)
The Crusaders now sport a 15-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Destrehan for a Division I District 6 test on Friday, January 17. Brother Martin will meet a Wildcats team coming off a 1-1 non-league Bourgeois (Gray, LA). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-5.
