Maryland High School Basketball - Archbishop Spalding trounces McDonogh
January 15, 2022: Severn, MD 21144 The Archbishop Spalding Cavaliers (Severn, MD) basketball crushed the visiting McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD), 82-49 in Saturday's league test.
The Cavaliers (13-2) will now prepare for their test against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD). The Cougars go into the MIAA A - Red test with a 14-1 record. In their last test, Our Lady of Mount Carmel walloped Goretti (Hagerstown, MD), 67-49, in a league test.
The Eagles now sport a 1-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvert Hall for a MIAA A - Black contest on Monday, January 31.
