In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Octorara Area Braves basketball team scored a tight 65-64 triumph over the Kennett Blue Demons.

In their next game, the Braves meet the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) in a Lancaster-Lebanon 2 match, on Tuesday, January 18. Octorara Area will attempt to better on its 4-7 season record. The Pioneers enter the match with a 12-0 record after their 69-41 league win over Garden Spot (New Holland, PA).
