Washington High School Basketball - Cashmere overwhelms Wapato
January 15, 2022: Cashmere, WA 98815 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Cashmere Bulldogs (Cashmere, WA) and the visiting Wapato Wolves (Wapato, WA), saw Cashmere's basketball squad wallop Wapato by a tally of 73-51.
With the victory, Cashmere improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Cascade (Leavenworth, WA) to confront the Kodiaks in a 1A Caribou Trail challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Kodiaks come into the challenge with a record of 0-7. Cascade lost 30-21 in their recent league challenge against Quincy (Quincy, WA)
Next up, the Wolves confront the Toppenish Wildcats (Toppenish, WA) in a 1A South Central - West challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Wapato will attempt to improve on its 7-2 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-3 record after their 65-44 league loss to Zillah (Zillah, WA).
