New Jersey High School Basketball - Governor Livingston nips Oak Knoll
January 15, 2022: Berkeley Heights, NJ 07922 Governor Livingston Highlanders (Berkeley Heights, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Oak Knoll Royals (Summit, NJ), 43-40 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Governor Livingston upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Westfield (Westfield, NJ) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 18. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 8-3. Westfield lost 52-47 in their recent non-league bout against New Providence (New Providence, NJ)
In their next game, the Royals face the Summit Hilltoppers (Summit, NJ) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 17. Oak Knoll will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 7-2 record after their 54-47 non-league loss to Scotch Plains-Fanwood (Scotch Plains, NJ).
