Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) followers left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their ice hockey team nip the visiting Ralston Valley Mustangs (Arvada, CO), 3-2 in a non-league match.

The Sabercats (7-2) will now prepare for their match against Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Rangers enter the 5A South match with a 5-2 record. In their last match, Lewis-Palmer tipped Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO), 5-3, in a league match.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Centaurus Warriors (Lafayette, CO) in a 5A North match, on Monday, January 17. Ralston Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 4-5 record after their 5-0 league loss to Monarch (Louisville, CO).
