January 15, 2022: Perry, OH 44081 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Perry Pirates (Perry, OH) and the visiting Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH), saw Perry's basketball squad knock off Kirtland by a count of 44-32.
With the victory, Perry upgrades its record to 8-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Lakeside (Ashtabula, OH) to play the Dragons in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Dragons come into the challenge with a record of 2-5. Lakeside won 59-36 in their recent non-league challenge against Jefferson Area (Jefferson, OH)
Next up, the Hornets play the Grand Valley Mustangs (Orwell, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Kirtland will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
