Massachusetts High School Basketball - North holds off Lawrence
January 15, 2023: Lawrence, MA 01841 Fans at Sunday's non-league challenge between the North Polar Bears (Worcester, MA) and the host Lawrence Lancers (Lawrence, MA), saw North's basketball squad hold off Lawrence by a tally of 57-54.
With the victory, North improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Polar Bears host Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA) to confront the Mountaineers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 17. The Mountaineers come into the challenge with a record of 2-5.
Next up, the Lancers confront the Andover Golden Warriors (Andover, MA) in a Merrimack Valley - Large challenge, on Tuesday, January 17. Lawrence will attempt to improve on its 10-1 season record. The Golden Warriors come into the challenge with a 4-5 record after their 56-54 non-league loss to Charlestown (Charlestown, MA).
