Louisiana High School Basketball - North Central holds off Capitol
January 15, 2024: Lebeau, LA 70589 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Central Hurricanes (Lebeau, LA) and the visiting Capitol Lions (Baton Rouge, LA), saw North Central's basketball squad hold off Capitol by a tally of 75-69.
With the victory, North Central improves its record to 13-8 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host St. Edmund (Eunice, LA) to confront the Fighting Blue Jays in a 1A District 6 challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Fighting Blue Jays come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Lions confront the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, January 22. Capitol will attempt to improve on its 18-6 season record.
