January 15, 2024: Alpharetta, GA 30022 The Chattahoochee Cougars basketball team (Alpharetta, GA), dropped 69-52 in Monday's non-league battle with the visiting Newton Rams (Covington, GA)
The Rams now possess a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Parkview for a AAAAAAA Region 4 battle on Friday, January 19. Newton will battle a Panthers team coming off a 66-48 league loss to South Gwinnett (Snellville, GA). The Panthers record now stands at 4-14.
The Cougars (11-7) will now prepare for their battle against North Springs (Atlanta, GA). The Spartans come into the AAAAA Region 6 battle with a 5-13 record. In their last battle, North Springs prevailed over Cambridge (Milton, GA), 65-62, in a league battle.
