The Gladiators now possess a 17-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bishop McNamara for a Freelance battle on Thursday, January 18. Christ the King will confront a Fightin' Irish team coming off a 71-52 league loss to Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Fightin' Irish record now stands at 11-6.
The Rocks (13-5) will now prepare for their battle against Alleman (Rock Island, IL). The Pioneers come into the Western Big 6 battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Alleman beat Quad Cities Christian (Moline, IL), 73-40, in a non-league battle.
