Michigan High School Basketball - Southeastern tops Eastern
January 15, 2024: Detroit, MI 48214 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Southeastern Jungaleers (Detroit, MI) and the visiting Eastern Quakers (Lansing, MI), saw Southeastern's basketball squad knock off Eastern by a tally of 58-47.
With the victory, Southeastern improves its record to 10-2 on the campaign. The Jungaleers host Ford (Detroit, MI) to play the Trojans in a Detroit Public I challenge on Friday, January 19. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 1-10. Ford lost 55-51 in their recent non-league challenge against Bedford (Temperance, MI)
Next up, the Quakers play the Haslett Vikings (Haslett, MI) in a Capital Area - Red challenge, on Friday, January 19. Eastern will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 1-10 record after their 47-42 non-league loss to DeWitt (DeWitt, MI).
