Washington High School Basketball - North Kitsap holds off Federal Way
January 15, 2024: Federal Way, WA 98003 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the North Kitsap Vikings (Poulsbo, WA) and the host Federal Way Eagles (Federal Way, WA), saw North Kitsap's basketball squad hold off Federal Way by a tally of 66-59.
With the victory, North Kitsap improves its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Olympic (Bremerton, WA) to confront the Trojans in a 2A Olympic challenge on Tuesday, January 16. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 3-9. Olympic lost 66-48 in their recent league challenge against Bainbridge (Bainbridge Island, WA)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Decatur Golden Gators (Federal Way, WA) in a 3A/4A North Puget Sound challenge, on Tuesday, January 16. Federal Way will attempt to improve on its 10-4 season record. The Golden Gators come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 62-50 league loss to Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA).
