Trinity Collegiate Titans (Darlington, SC) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Lugoff-Elgin Demons (Lugoff, SC), 61-57 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Trinity Collegiate upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Titans travel to First Baptist School (Charleston, SC) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 16. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 5-7. First Baptist School lost 70-67 in their recent non-league bout against Augusta Christian (Martinez, GA)

Next up, the Demons play the Westwood Redhawks (Blythewood, SC) in a AAAA Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Lugoff-Elgin will attempt to upgrade on its 6-10 season record. The Redhawks come into the bout with a 12-1 record after their 72-59 league win over A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC).
