Wisconsin High School Basketball - Palmyra-Eagle crushes Montello
January 15, 2024: Palmyra, WI 53156 Palmyra-Eagle Panthers (Palmyra, WI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Montello Hilltoppers (Montello, WI), 67-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Palmyra-Eagle upgrades its record to 11-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Oakfield (Oakfield, WI) to play the Oaks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 19. The Oaks go into the bout with a record of 6-4. Oakfield won 69-63 in their recent league bout against Horicon (Horicon, WI)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Tri-County Penguins (Plainfield, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 16. Montello will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Penguins go into the bout with a 3-9 record after their 66-63 league win over Rosholt (Rosholt, WI).
