New York High School Basketball - Regis overwhelms Moore Catholic
January 15, 2024: Staten Island, NY 10314 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Regis Raiders (New York, NY) and the host Moore Catholic Mavericks (Staten Island, NY), saw Regis's basketball squad wallop Moore Catholic by a tally of 69-47.
With the victory, Regis improves its record to 10-1 on the campaign. The Raiders host Kennedy Catholic (Somers, NY) to play the Gaels in a Catholic A challenge on Thursday, January 25. The Gaels come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Kennedy Catholic lost 73-42 in their recent non-league challenge against Fordham Prep (Bronx, NY)
Next up, the Mavericks play the Cathedral Prep Crusaders (Elmhurst, NY) in a Catholic B challenge, on Saturday, January 27. Moore Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record.
