January 15, 2024: Santa Rosa, CA 95404 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Bernard's Crusaders (Eureka, CA) and the host Sonoma Academy Coyotes (Santa Rosa, CA), saw St. Bernard's's basketball squad overcome Sonoma Academy by a score of 61-41.
The Crusaders now sport a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ferndale for a Humboldt-Del Norte - Little 4 battle on Thursday, January 18. St. Bernard's will battle a Wildcats team coming off a 65-35 league loss to South Fork (Miranda, CA). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-8.
The Coyotes (11-5) will now prepare for their battle against Roseland University Prep (Santa Rosa, CA). The Knights come into the North Central II battle with a 1-11 record. In their last battle, Roseland University Prep dropped by Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA), 56-23, in a non-league battle.
